It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Wishewan, a cherished member of the Ennis Fabrics family for over 30 years.

Diane’s unwavering dedication,
hard work, and spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with, and
her loss will be profoundly felt.

Starting her career in the customer experience department, Diane quickly became the go-to person for answers at Ennis Fabrics. Her incredible work ethic often saw her starting her days early, always ensuring she gave her absolute best. Words cannot fully capture the extent of Diane’s contributions to the company or the
influence she had on all of us.

Outside of work, Diane’s love for the Winnipeg Jets and Blue Bombers made her a spirited presence in a workplace filled with Edmonton Oilers and Elks fans. She proudly defended her teams with humor and resilience, bringing smiles and laughter to all.

The number 11 held special meaning to Diane, and in her honor, we are adopting this as a symbol of her strength and positivity. For the next 11 days, our company logo will change to purple—a color representing resilience and the fight against cancer—as a tribute to Diane and the courageous battle she fought.

We invite everyone to honor Diane’s memory over these 11 days and beyond, reflecting on the indelible mark she left on our team and our lives. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the Wishewan family during this difficult time.
